We are now accepting applications for our 2024 PILOT cohort!

For the last 15 years, Unite Oregon has organized our Pan-Immigrant Leadership and Organizing Training (PILOT) program, to address the challenges faced by emerging immigrant and refugee leaders and groups through leadership and skill-building convenings.

We believe that the people most affected by the issues should take a leadership role in solving those issues. We facilitate and provide PILOT trainings, using a popular education model, for our community to organize cross-culturally, allowing them to take charge. The popular education model encompasses interactive, participant-driven, community-rooted training sessions that build skills and power while creating spaces for community members to identify responses and solutions to their struggles.

We engage cohort members in our campaigns throughout the program year through engagement in our Six Pillars: Climate Justice, Housing, Community Safety, Health Equity, Education, and Equitable Community Development.

All participants must COMMIT to attending ALL program dates listed below to graduate and receive a certificate. Any missed sessions need prior communication (no exceptions).
