Victor joins the Unite Oregon team as a Community Organizer for Washington County. His professional and personal experiences led him to be passionate about serving others. He worked at Community Partners for Affordable Housing where he spent two years as a Resident Services Coordinator, connecting low-income residents to helpful resources and being an advocate for more affordable housing in the Portland metro area. Prior to that, he spent time working for a federally qualified health center in Eugene/Springfield and spent two years in Mozambique serving in the Peace Corps. He has a drive to help marginalized communities and a passion to solve the affordable housing crisis in Oregon. Victor is an immigrant from Mexico. He moved to Oregon at the age of eight and has called the Pacific Northwest his home ever since. Victor holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Oregon and studied Spanish in Puerto Rico.
