Maggie Mashia joined Unite Oregon as the BUILD Parent Organizer in the Jefferson Cluster to serve families in Jefferson High School, Faubion, Ockley Green, and Tubman middle schools. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Communication, over 20 years in nonprofit management and has been a small business owner. She brings her many years of involvement in grassroots organizing, community engagement and the navigation of at risk youth through the school system to her role. Currently, she resides in Jefferson neighborhood community and continues to be involved the enrichment and equity of disenfranchised cultural specific communities.
