Urge the Legislature to fund the Drug Addiction Treatment & Recovery Act (Measure 110)
The War on Drugs has been a catastrophic failure. Last November, Unite Oregon and 1.2 million Oregonians overwhelmingly voted to pass Measure 110, the Drug Addiction Treatment & Recovery Act. As of February 1, people are no longer being arrested and jailed for minor possession charges. We’ve made great strides in shifting away from a criminal approach to addiction and toward a health-based one.
But we can’t stop with decriminalization. We must also expand access to the vital recovery services as outlined in the Drug Addiction Treatment & Recovery Act, and that's where we need YOU! Unite Oregon is partnering with the Oregon Health Justice Recovery Alliance to ensure that our lawmakers honor the voters' wishes and fund the critical, life-saving addiction recovery services as outlined in the new law. We need voices & people power to hold the Oregon State Legislature accountable for funding implementation in full.

Together we can make sure lawmakers understand how urgently addiction recovery services are needed, and that they have the power AND the duty to increase access to these services by implementing the Drug Addiction Treatment & Recovery Act!
