MLK Day: End Profiling Listening Session

MLK Day: End Profiling Listening Session

Dear Washington County Community,

On this upcoming Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Unite Oregon invites you to join us for an End Profiling Community Listening Session with Oregon State Representative Susan McLain and Attorney General Ellen Rosenblum from the Oregon Department of Justice.

As you likely know, Oregon passed important End Profiling legislation in 2015, and now Unite Oregon and our partners are working hard to pass additional legislation in 2017 to implement the law.  This listening session is a critical opportunity for our communities in rural Washington County to tell their stories of profiling to elected officials who will be taking this issue up again at the Capitol. We will also talk about opportunities for you to become involved and help us pass this important next step in ending profiling in Oregon.

To share your profiling story or if you have any questions, please contact us at the information below.

In solidarity,

End Profiling Campaign Staff
