Economic Development Fellow - East Portland
Emily was born and raised in SE Portland. She is excited to serve her local community as a fellow with Unite Oregon's East Portland Community Prosperity Initiative and Oregonians in the Rogue Valley through her work on access to reproductive healthcare. Driven by a passion for building relationships and creating networks that fight for systemic social change, Emily is currently pursuing her bachelor's degree in health equity at Stanford University. Outside of classes, she works with fellow college students as a sexual health peer counselor and as a health educator in high schools in San Jose. After college Emily hopes to attend medical school and to continue to advocate for equity in healthcare and beyond.
In her free time Emily loves to cook, read, be outdoors, and spend time with family and friends.
