Eduardo brings more than 20 years of experience in the Business Administration field, and feels that when our communities are organized we have more access to opportunities for a better life.  He believes that the contributions of immigrants and refugees to Oregon make our state stronger. In 2012-2013, Eduardo participated in the Advisory Committee of Oregon Prosperity Agenda, which create the document "Path to Prosperity, Four strategies to reduce Oregon’s poverty rate to 10% by 2020." He has also volunteered with Forest Grove Economic Development Committee, Beaverton Economic Development Technical Advisory Committee and the Aloha-Reedville Community Advisory Committee. In March 2012, Eduardo was nominated for the White House “Cesar Chavez Champions of Change” award, El Centinela elected him "El Personaje Latino del Mes (Feb 2013), and was honored with OMEN Innovator of the Year 2013 award. He is excited to join the Unite Oregon team, and to more make Washington County a welcoming and thriving place for all.
